  6. I would be drinking this, but it won't be released for ten more days.

Instead I'll offering a libation of Missouri apple-pie (shine) in honor of the late Steve Cash (founding member of The Ozark Mountain Daredevils) who passed this weekend.

  7. Four Roses bourbon while enjoying the warm evening, light rain and some Pig Mania (1977).

    Leaning Jowler ... 15 points!

A gift from the wife for our 5-yr anniversary (wood according to the experts), this crafty caddy and an assortment of beers. Of the four she picked out two were new to me and two I've had before in the past. I decided to go for something new, so first up, Dogfish Head World Wide Stout:

ABV at 15-20% (per their site) this one's got a helluva kick but goes down oh so smooth. I suspect I started with the best of the lot. If you like dark beers and can find this, get it.

Rusty Kiltpin Scottish Ale and Left Luggage Porter by Angry Scotsman. No photos this time so I may have to go back to the taproom...

Bob, I can't believe another person has played this game! I used to play this as a drinking game, between rounds of poker with friends. You brought back some good memories. Yesterday, I ran into the son of a friend, that I haven't seen for years. When he approached my table and said my name, I was shocked to see my friend, as he looked 40 years ago. I learned that my old friend lives near Springfield, and he is the one who owned Pigmania. It looks like drinking is still involved with this game.

Catching up on this thread tonight. It looks like Hurricane and Bob, have kept it interesting.
Tonight it's Sierra Nevada Celebration Ale, to wash down this steak, potatoes, Brussels sprouts, and fresh pears.[IMG][IMG]

  15. Ha, ha ... that's great Ed. Isn't drinking involved in most games? I still have Jarts --- although that one is probably not recommended with too much drinking.

Last night, a tall Negra Modelo on tap. Tonight, a few Angry Orchards while reading out back and listening to The Drive by Truckers.

Found a good Mexican restaurant while travelling and enjoyed a few Did Equis on tap with some comfort food.
