Meant to post this earlier, this is the Campbell bar back in the '20s or '30s when it was a private office:
Hi Jack, I think you mean the Scotch and Sirloin. http://www.scotchandsirloin.net/
I was fortunate enough to get to eat and drink there at a convention (not MY convention). Free Steak and beer is much better than the same steak and beer you paid for.
You are correct of course. That damned auto fill!
Such a beautiful place. It would definitely be a place we would enjoy enjoying often.
Raining. Storming. A perfect evening for Bulleit Bourbon and ginger ale.
All we need is a pic of a werewolf drinking a piña colada at Trader Vic's.
Negra Modellos this evening.
Plural. I like that.
Plural here as well although they are Angry Orchards.
Never got into Angry Orchard thing.
Took my wife out on a date night and ended up at A&W for a burger (I know not high class but it is our shared guilty pleasure). We drank large frosted mugs of...…...root beer!
Thankfully it is not for everyone or it would be impossible to get. I say the same for Guinness, Dos Equis, and any of the coffee porter ales I also enjoy.
Me too. Most dark beers, really. Must be the Scotch-Irish in me.
chilled San Pellegrino..... Molto Bene!!!
Had the first rum eggnog of the season last night. I will be having another tonight.
Interesting! Never heared that before.
Putting hard liquor in eggnog is pretty common (at least in the Northeast US where I live).
I like rum or whisky in it, but any of the "brown" liquors work.
Picked up a couple insulated stainless growlers (for the daughters' Christmas) from a local brewery. The price was the same whether they filled them or not, so I'm working on emptying them as no one wants a growler with 12-day old beer in them ... right? Started with Black Walnut Wheat and then will move to Float Trip (a wheat based blonde ale). Probably not all tonight.
The clarity, and lack of head left me with doubt. However, the flavor and 9% abv won me over.
