As a working [but, struggling] artist, this program interested me greatly, and its latest episode may appeal to others on the Lounge, as it features a painter who's work is centred on the vintage and nostalgic... Jack Vettriano.
I'm not a huge fan to be honest, as his technique can be a little lacking at times, but his subjects are highly evocative of an an older era, and he captures 'mood' very well.
Not sure if those outside the UK can view these programmes online [when availible], but here is the series link.... I personally love another subject of this program Norman Ackroyde... well worth a look if your can view it.
