Thanks DD! It's my size with tags & all. I'll post more in the Pre-1940's thread when it arrives & I have a chance to work with it a bit.

 

This one is on it's way. I couldn't pass up another Canadian No 1 Quality. This one apparently belonged to the Mayor of Calgary Don Mackay. He was mayor between 1949 - 1959 so if the provenance is true it's certainly a 50's hat. I'm betting it was made in the Brockville plant in Ontario. More details to come when it arrives!

Thanks guys! I’m excited. I been trying to find a hat that looks like the Bruce Willis hat from last man standing.

 

Okay. So. First, finding a black Knox fro the 30s a few weeks ago. Now...I found this gem of a piece that is forthcoming. I know one cannot hurry love...But a Knox 40? Be swift, snail mail! Did I say I love vintage Knox pieces? Oh yeah. I did.

 

Way to go, Doc! There were a few of us looking at that beauty. I’m glad it found the right home.
