What a score. I bet enough clean up and put you in the black.

Looking forward to seeing the end result of those finds, Bob.

They are small and the felts all have some mothing. This one was interesting. I’ve not seen “Premier” on a vintage Resistol that I recall. The felt is very nice!

Just ordered this one on Etsy, to arrive post-Christmas. Had it sent to the office, something to look forward to on the dark day needs must I return there.... ;)

A UK-made version of the USAAF B2, except in black. It'll be interesting to compare it alongside my ELC B2. I'm not especially expecting 'military accuracy'. I do however enjoy the ELC B2 on particularly cold, Winter days, and this appealed to me as an option for those times when a brown cap just doesn't sit quite right with a black coat (or whatever). Fingers crossed the sizing works. When I ordered my ELC way back around 2010, I had to return one as thought it was my marked size and fitted in the 'flaps up' position it was too small with the flaps folded down. We'll see how this one goes.

That purple liner is *glorious*!

My one big gripe about almost every production hat I've owned is the default white liners. Sure, black and the other darker shades pick up grime too, but it's so much less obvious. This may affect me more than many round here because I balded young and have been shaving my head completely since 2006, not long before I started wearing 'proper' hats regularly.

Premier Nutria, London. Curiosity drove me to this $40 purchase. The seller proclaimed "I think it's made of wool because of it's age". It has a nice gill-type bow, last pic.
