Shucks, folks, I'm speechless. Mine isn't a Texan, Mr. P, but it's quite similar to yours other than the ribbon treatment (mine is pure OR ripoff). It's marked Supreme but that might be a quality denominator and not a model. It's XXXX Quality 100% White Coney too! lol

Grits (coming from a Yankee now) are like cold slaw and potato salad - there are as may bad recipes as good ones. The best grits I ever had were leftover with about the consistency of leftover mashed potatoes and patty fried in bacon grease with onions and I'm not sure what all else. Yummy! :D

There's a reason why smart cooks wear baseball caps around frying pans. Keep your fedoras away! :essen:
