Great hats over the past few days. I particularly liked Alan and Case's most recent posts.

Mine from today (apologies for tie slippage) - new Wegener Homburg (more shots in the German & Austrian thread):

Stetson Employees Store factory reject. Late 1930s - 1940. Plaited straw - could be leghorn but I'm not sure.

I really like the yellow pug, sir. Original to the hat or could I find one like that for sale?

The hat arrived with it, but I really don't know if it is original.

One thousand drats. I had hope that you had found a source from which to buy good looking pugs. You have a really nice hat, that one.

    Great hats today everyone.

Yeah, Charley you had me well beaten today. Out of the usual routine visiting with our daughter at her school.

I only brought one hat, plenty warm enough for a nice straw but with thunder showers forecast the next couple of days, I went with my Adventurebilt.

    No pics yet.

Elegant Homburg. Surprisingly it wasn't bad in the high temps.

    I'll echo that.

Thank you, Alan. It does have a particular heft. Enjoyed all the photos of your trip this week.

Out for a late walk this evening in the wind. The temps have dropped along the Northern CA coast after a short warm spell.

    Stetson Playboy, warm and cool.
