My Bespoke Blue-Gray Worth & Worth I designed. It is my most favorite hat I have ever owned.
That hat is exquisite. The colour is angelic. Simply immaculate.
Yes, that lovely Topper looks to be from 1840-Mid 1860's. It is a masterpiece, and is in such pristine condition. Wow! It would look ever better, complimented with a "Prince Albert Frock Coat". None the less, it is an incredible gem, and you sport it so well.
160 years and looks pristine!
Hope your house have high enough doors xD
Metropd -- Astonishingly wonderful hat and look. The composition of the first photo is very nicely done as well.
Thank you Sir. That is very kind of you to say so.
What I particularly like about this Stove Pipe Hat, is it has some Bell Crown, which makes it more sophisticated and Elegant, than your run of the mill generic mid 19th century Stove Pipe Hat.
Great posts today fellas but Alan reaches new heights.
Hey Garret, Bob even got the moth bites in that refurb!
Thank you for the shared appreciation of this great old top hat. I am really thrilled to have it.
Metropd, great to see your photos in this thread.
Garrett, another beautiful BSHW renovation... the new sweatband fits it well.
Javier, I'm pretty sure your Borsalino is older than 1970s some additional photos would help. It's a beauty!
I missed a great Tuesday on here - great hats from all.
Thanks for the comments on Monday's Squatter - another Akubra on Tuesday:
Were is the brim of that?
Please tell me more about that hat Richard, thanks.Really looks good
Hi Javier - nice to see you are still enjoying the Borsalino. I'm not good at dating those hats but when I bought it, the seller (the Colonel of Lounge ill-repute, no less) told me the hat was late 50's or maybe early 60's I seem to recall.
Joao - I'd love to see a photo of you wearing Richard's Homburg, That would be a classic!
Feels more like November than late April here today. Still it means there is still an opportunity to wear some favorite felt hats for a while.
VS Executive style today, inspired by missing Lounger Eric (short balding guy).
Homburg looks good, Richard!
Nice VS David!
Another snotty day outside, so it's the Mallory for the second time this week.

Gear-guy it's The Akubra Homburg in Acorn - either from Everything Australian or Hats direct (I can't remember which).
David - very nice tribute to Eric (hope he'll be back soon).
Harv - no problem with two shots of that beauty.

Wow! That's quite the Topper. It looks very distinguished on you. Very nice indeed.
It's much earlier than that...late '40s - '50s, maybe(?)...one of the other loungers should know for sure.
