A tan hat with a brown ribbon has to be my favorite combination. The shape of the hat is perfect, too. Dave Johnson did a superb job and Slim Portly wears it well!!! :eusa_clap :eusa_clap :eusa_clap :eusa_clap

Thanks Mario, you are of course correct- my error. HRH Queen Elizabeth's mother was referred to the Queen Mother, yes?

I think, for myself- I perhaps need to not go so far as saying I want to stroke/touch these glorious hats you gentlemen here all wear. You fellas here can get away with that one... Maybe I just haven't been around a gloriously soft hat in person to want to do that!

Yep. The Queen Mum - (almost) everybody's darling.

With some hats, there is just something very special to the look of the felt - and it makes you want to touch it, just to know if it really feels that soft, or silky, or smooth, or...well, I think you get the point.

HA! Changed my location to reality. I'm in the southern East Bay city of Fremont. Anyway, the closest Dairy Queen is about 12 miles away.

Here I am today at the local Farmer's Market getting grub for Father's Day dinner...
