Tanaro, another name for medium end Borsalino

This is the best of the three I've had NOS

All of the same color as two different sizes, but one eaten by the moths, the other two integers.

The finishes are good, but they are clearly low price hats

Not really a fan of the stiffness of SHANTUNG. It is hard to fix warped brims. Any ideas ? I feel like I am ruining the hat when I hear it crack as I bend the brim to my liking.

Anyway the Dobbs BASINO Gambler. All I am missing is a seersucker suit and a seat on a ferry boat down south.

You DEFINITELY need the attitude to carry this one.

Are you using a kettle or iron to steam the straw before shaping? I wouldn't try to shape without adding some heat and moisture =)

Anyway -- it looks awesome!

I don't quite have the budget or ebay luck yet to snag myself some nice fur felts, but these wools do the job well enough for me.

Nice to see a young man looking good and styling and profiling in a dapper lid!!
