I wore my newly converted PFG straw today. Brim trimmed down to 2 1/2” from 3 1/4”.

Thanks Richard. That was a nice Sovereign you were wearing today. Is the felt on that one thick? It almost looks western weight in the photos.

    Thanks,
    Michael

Thanks Michael, it does have a thicker than felt than a normal dress weight hat but it's not as stiff as a western.

I don’t really know. The second hand shop I bought it from was not a hatter in any sense of the word. But before them - who knows?

Today was a Dorfman Pacific. I probably should have worn a leather jacket and carried a whip, but that might not have gone over well at the office.

My past couple of days: a Trimble, a VS, a Dennis Brooks, and a back seat full of choices because I’m too tired to put them away today.

That is a beauty John. That ribbon and bow are absolutely crazy good. Is it a dark gray?

    Greetings Moe:
I wonder if somehow there is a connection with Stetson hats. With that name it just seems way to coincidental not to be. Who knows, affiliate companies, spin offs could be anything. Interesting your description of the felt quality too. Hmmm
    Be well. Bowen

Thanks everyone, I still have one more new tie to pair with a hat. Got three of them off eBay for next to nuthin! Can't find any good ones in our thrift stores.

Got home late tonight from a board meeting, so many great hats today. Everyone was bringing their A game! Just know that each and every one had me smiling from ear to ear while catching up.
