  1. Thanks Mike! She wasn't wearing it, but I had to promise not to lose it.

This afternoon, I found myself wandering a local antique mall. Alas... no good hats to take home along with this afternoon's Adam.
Nice reminder of the 2nd best forty, though.

    Happy weekend. [IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG]

Now there's a hat to write home about. Wonderful Flagship, Bowen!

Nope. The seller went radio silent. I opened a case with eBay and my money was refunded. Very strange.

    Thanks Red!

    Greetings All:
Hey Red thanks as always. I got a good chuckle out of that...Son...ha...
pretty sure i got you by a few.
Seriously though, i truly get joy from sharing these hats with you and anyone else that reads these posts. Hell, i’d really like to grab people walking by and say “Hey, come here a minute, take a look at this, it’s....”. Ya know? I know you do and i hope others do to. To have and hold is hollow, to share is sacred, so i just want others to see a hat the way i do, not as a trophy posession but a fine piece of art that should never be hoarded. Anyway, bla bla. I’m glad to let others help me share some joy. Something, sometimes so very hard to find in this world and harder to keep to oneself.
Be well my friend and Blessings. Bo

Another Gannon masterpiece, but I agree a lower (and more squared-off) crown would suit you much better.

    Well stated!

Wow, that low carb diet sure worked out well!!

Love the Dunlap. One of these days I'm getting me a nice derby and a Homburg and a black fedora and another western and a nice summer hat in sisal and...oh, boy[emoji852]

There's something about snow and light colored hats that just works. Beautiful hat, Alan!

There is no lining. I’m not sure if there ever was one, it’s very light weight pliable felt. I can change the bash and it stays ! Here are a couple of pictures of the sweat.

Starting at @KarlCrow, wishes for a Merry and Happy St. Patty's Day to the world.

Made by Gary at Custom Hats of Buffalo from New Old Stock (at the time) "Cavanagh Edged" Borsalino felts, the stingiest brim I own, but perfect for today...

Beautiful. I’m often a sucker for tone on tone, especially with light hats like that one. Add the sun and the snow, and you have tone on tone on tone on tone!
