I purchased this hat last fall. I did not like the taper in the crown so I don't wear it for much else besides working outdoors. It is, however, my nicest Akubra; being of Heritage quality, it has denser, softer fur than my other Akubras, and the Heritage sweatband makes it a pleasure to wear.

Thanks . I've actually gained a little, but I'm working on cutting that back. Lately, I just haven't had anything to say...it's been four months to the day since I last purchased anything hat related, and nowadays I only wear the Buckaroo Hatters Moorelite. I got tired of my own repetition, so I've become content to just observe the postings of other Loungers, until I myself can find something worth saying.

lol I'll work on that. My posts per day is still in the 6.9-7.0 range! My realm of experience, as far as hats, extends as far as Akubra, Buckaroo Hatters, the Hatco factory, and the dubious legality of milkshakes in Texas bars.

Thanks D'Guy. I almost wore the VS Silver Mist but chickened out because I knew it would be a sweat-dripping mess after a few hours in the gardens. I really love wearing that VS Silver Mist - it is a terrific Florida hat.
