It doesn't seem to have bound edge... maybe cav, Steve?

It has a factory applied tear drop crease & side dents with a raw edge. This hat was actually made in East Germany (GDR) late 1950s early 1960s.

Yes they do. Just keep in mind that it's not always easy to get an accurate brim measurement from an eBay listing.
