I'm wearing my FP whiskey today. I just got it back from Parker. He changed the ribbon for me because I felt that with a thin brown ribbon it would go with more clothing and get more head time. I miss the other look now but I'm happy with it like this also. Some now and before pics.

RBH, thanks for the antiqued photo and thanks for the compliment! I like the Fed IV a lot, it just doesn't seem to get as much head time as some of my more exotic hats. I'll have to pull it out more often.

Thank you again for the kind remarks on my Borso and dad's old coat! I think he picked that coat up in London in the late 60s? A tad big on the shoulders for me, but who cares?

Job, I also like both ribbon treatments. What exactly was the color of the former ribbon? Do the photos seem accurate in depicting it? I've got one in the oven with Parker right now, and had imagined a similar color scheme (Natural/Rust), but perhaps not if it's that bright.

I've got the triangular box too, pretty neat idea for a traveling lid... still amazes me how critical a hat was (is for us) to the everyday attire even on trips.

Good morning. Fatigued from the weekend traveling. Dressed for a dog walk and just picked a hat for my head without a thought.

My Lee Cameo in a light brown - good choice for no thought. Boy will, I will need some more coffee before heading in to open the gym.
