I wanted to wear a hat but me sleeping while standing up lead in to hurrying to catch the train.

My wife and I met Esther at her workshop last thursday. It was great meeting her and talking shop. Plenty of hats to try and lots and lots of ribbons to admire. She is going to make two hats for her. I'm sure they'll turn out great.

Thanks guys, I think the crown may look a little larger from the photo's perspective, it may be 5 1/2 to 5 3/4.
This hat is modeled after one of Alan's finds, an old Western with the ribbon treatment that Art copied beautifully.

It's just a hood i folded and pinned some ribbon on it... Et voila!

Yes, i do admit, i go overboard with the ribbons...
