^That^ is one good looking hat. Don't think I'd be willing to sacrifice my Dobbs Homburg to get a similar looking hat, though. I *will*, however, start looking for a Homburg with a messed-up edge binding in the hope of making a similar conversion.

Not a chance. I'd want it to look good enough to wear. There's plenty of lounge members who can do the work much more professionally than I can, and I'm happy to pay for their expertise. Your pic just got me thinking that the felt on my Dobbs Homburg is especially fine and would make a really nice fedora if converted. Hopefully I can find one with similar felt but with brim binding issues causing it to sell for a low price.

I can dream, right?

I'll chime in with cold. Fell to the upper 20s last night. A little late into the office today - everybody looking great so far. That is a sweet converted Hommie, mmbarnes. Those Racine's look choice, too. And that's a lotta brim, Scott!

LLBean cap I got for Christmas 3 or 4 years ago. Love the Homburg conversion. I had no idea that was possible. Great result. Lotsa nice hats!

I'm not known for nuance when it comes to color, so I'd just describe it as orange. Subtle though. Not too bold.

Good warm coat, scarf and a warm beret. I was also walking and having a cup of coffee to keep warm.

I'm sure Denmark is way colder than here though!
