It is too rainy and gray in Atlanta for sunlight pictures, but most of my hats end up with a deep c crown or a diamond. I like to wear my hats a little off my ears so I eat up a lot of felt near the back for the c while keeping the front high as I can. It's usually a pretty dramatic rake when I can make it work.

Here's a Resistol Stagecoach I'm working on. I gave it a Gus crease with a noticeable brim curl. It's still drying. Still needs a hat band. I posted a few different pics in the, Western Anyone, thread...

Looks great T. Why not match the ribbon to the brim binding? The lighter color will be a great contrast while accenting the nice depth of the brown in the hat body.

I'm short on ribbons at the moment. Although I do have a salvaged thin ribbon that would work. Maybe I'll try that until I can come up with something else. I thought of maybe a leather hat band of some sort too.
I believe that either would work well.

I guess I kinda decided to put this salvaged two ply thin ribbon back on it. The color matches the binding, so I'll go with it. This is one of a few thin ribbons that DOGMAN sent me....
