This goes for me as well. I may have handled a vintage hat a time or two during my time on this planet, but I only started showing a serious interest in brimmed/fur felt hats since 2008 so, to my knowledge, I don't own any that are truly vintage. I do have two hats--one made by Borsalino, the other by Stetson--that, best guess, were Trilbys in the 1960s or 70s and have since been converted to Pork Pies with Teardrop crowns. Fun, knock-around hats that were clearly worn and enjoyed before they wound up in my mitts, but any comments I make about their origin (except for the company logos on the sweats) are purely uneducated speculation.Akubra
