I posted these picks for Psant. He requested them in the Speed Demon thread. I didn't wanna post Schott pics in a Lost World's thread. lol.

Don't base your opinion of Schott HH on my pics. I am not a good pic taker. The leather is much better in person. The leather is also very easy to wear.

I hope you like it. Schott jackets are lighter than most of the big dogs. I think my perfecto weighs around 5lbs. It is super easy to wear though.

Schott leather is very disappointing at first. It breaks in beautifully in little time at all.

Opinions should be based on the photos you took because the jacket looks brilliant. I had a 618HH, stupidly sold it even though it was coming along nicely and just started losing that vinyl shine these jackets initially have - a decision I still regret to this day but luckily, one that can still be fixed. Schott Horsehide is in my permanent eBay search.

In any case, you should post these pics to the LW thread! Objectivley a better jacket. Bit lighter but equally comfortable, if not more so, arguably better looking and doesn't destroy itself. AND it's not a copy of anything.

Amazing how good that looks in a relatively short time. About a year old IIRC? IH really does denim the right way.

Actually this jacket is only about a month old...worn daily for the most part, with one short soak.

Do you soak with warm or cold water? Wear as it dries? Thinking of soaking my IH 1st zip.

I soaked it cold and yes, I did indeed wear it until dry. It's an awful process. I swore I'd never do it again after my Naked&Famous(but I'm glad I did).

one of the few instances where the landscape's beauty ever so slightly edges out the jacket's.

Thank you! I never thought I’d squeeze into a 40, but I love the way it fits! I find more freedom of movement in this than some of my much larger leather jackets. Aero really hit this one outta the park. And this midnight blue color.....forget about it.
