What Jacket Are You Wearing Today?

Mild temps in Chicago lately. Plenty of wear on the IH 23oz OD. Interesting denim. Seems to give in to creasing and fades much quicker than the indigo 21oz selvedge. Won’t be long before temps force me to hang it up but thus far I’m really impressed with this jacket. FWIW it outweighs many leather jackets I’ve owned. No small feat for a textile piece.

Actually this jacket is only about a month old...worn daily for the most part, with one short soak.

I soaked it cold and yes, I did indeed wear it until dry. It's an awful process. I swore I'd never do it again after my Naked&Famous(but I'm glad I did).

Thank you! I never thought I’d squeeze into a 40, but I love the way it fits! I find more freedom of movement in this than some of my much larger leather jackets. Aero really hit this one outta the park. And this midnight blue color.....forget about it.

Thanks for your nice comments. Based on the zipper, I think it's 1950s. The style is one that I believe carried over from the 1940s, so maybe the jacket itself is early 1950s?

Thanks Ton! It was your feedback that convinced me to follow thru with buying it. That color! The leather seems to be adjusting to me much quicker than my Sheens as well.

Good lord, I’d love me a 23oz IH. I find the heavier ounces give a killer creasing and color change quicker than the lighter ones. I love denim as much as leather.
