I bet you could rig it up with some snaps so it fastens at the sides to itself. That said I think it looks better sans the belt.

This one might go under the knife depending on how it fits her. The leather is so nice! It’s the first time i haven’t had the urge to condition a jacket straight away.

The arm creases are really starting to appear. Any brown showing through yet on the overdye Dave?

These Fidelity “IR” jackets are awesome. They seem to fit well on many different body-types.

Not yet! I actually like that the top coat is wearing more slowly.

I was eyeballing that Sportclad when it was for sale on eBay. It looked like it was rarely worn. Very cool coat.

Bone-chilling cool! Yes it's like new. I've been kind of saving it back and cherishing it. I've been after that jacket. A size 44 too, perfect.

Low 70s blustery and rainy today, so I decided to put on some winter gear and do a road trip way up to the North side. The light weight cow hide and A2 pattern was perfect for a cruise to Hanalei in my Prius with the AC blasting.

Is this Photoshop to show how it will age or is this panel mismatch for real?

The Modoc was from last night . . . tonight, I eschewed quality in favor of history and strapped on this heap of junk haphazardly manufactured by Buco:

I'm still not yet quite sure what is it that you mean by the historical influence of this jacket, as it isn't really influential in any significant way, but it does fit you very well and looks great.
