This is a Norwegian brand more famous for gloves and coats here in Norway. They also had a store right here in my home Town. Never seen a jacket like this from them before. Very interesting.

    Tom71,
I can’t tell you how happy I was to read your post and see the photos. I should be receiving my own black Ryder tomorrow and I can only hope it looks and fits like yours!
I too went with the 3.5 oz horse and I’m happy to hear your assessment that it is a lighter easy wearing hide. Shout out to John D McCarter as well as he gave me some good tips and pointers that I incorporated into my order.

Teamster in Russet Badalassi leather, just had a lot of foul weather, the seams are still wet of the rain.

I wouldn't call it light, my CXL HH bootleggers are 5 and 5.6lb, my x150 Commando is 6.6lb and my J-24 (also 3.5oz) is 6.5oz.
It is definitely nice to wear, but it is by no means light...

Badalassi? Thought it’s russett jerky. It’s heavy?

It is mid weight leather, just a bit stiff to start, very weareble, not as though and heavy as CXL HH and not as waterproof, but lovely leather.

Good point! I suppose I meant light in comparison to my 4oz + LW. Im happy to see that you agree that it is a nice hide to wear.

And it shows! I’m really glad you reached out to me when I was putting mine together because I knew I wanted to tweak a couple things on the Ryder but I didn’t know where to start.
