I put the jacket on a hanger and hold it under a bathroom shower for 5 minutes or so, then i let it drip, and i wear it to dry

Nothing major happens, belt looks a step more broken in.

And i knead on the side panel so it learns to fold naturally just like sleeve cuff webbing. And it helps with keeping the waistline not spreading out when being worn open

yes, I pat/stamp dyed the whole hide, I didn't seal it with any varnish, just buffing the dye to get a sheen but eventually it will fade, maybe if the dye fades too far one day I will touch up with diluted dye on some deeper parts.

Thank you Will, I'm down around 10 pounds, 185. This jacket is a 44, I squeeze into smaller sizes for pics.

I lost the Civil War beard, that took off. Some weight!!

Vintage Gold Label Brooks finally made it, I think it was in transit for just over 4 weeks…eBay international shipping is TERRIBLE at the moment, so slow.

Anyway, great jacket. Tagged a 42 but definitely a size up from my brown Gold Label brooks which is also tagged a 42.

This has significantly thicker and nicer leather and a much bigger zipper….
