Loving the collar, cuffs and pattern on this Levi’s jacket but as someone who likes to do up the middle two or so buttons if I’m not wearing it open, the zip is frustrating!

I can understand your frustration mate, I've been eying the jacket Brad Pitt wears in "Once upon a time in Hollywood"(Wrangler 124MJ/24MJ if I remember right) and the main reason I've not pulled the trigger is exactly this reason haha. If they went with a double-zipper it would be perfect

But I must say the jacket looks amazing on you mate, fit seems like a real winner and I really like the wash

I was happy when @TheOldFashioned said he would buy the belt without the buckle, so I could reuse the buckle on the belt. I made and dyed this belt to use the old buckle

Probably the last week of decent jacket weather here…. My most recent jacket, and probably my end game cross zip. Got all the specs where I wanted them for a riding jacket. I made two of these nearly identical with different teacore steer hides to test out. The other one is going Mad Max quickly! This one will take some time to lose any topcoat.

Wearing my Aero 1930s Half Belt today in brown chromexcel front quarter horsehide. It’s broken in beautifully over time — stiff at first, but now the grain and creasing give it a ton of character. The slimmer cut, angled chest pocket, and that pleated half belt back give it a sharp vintage silhouette.

It’s easily one of my favorite pieces for cool weather — substantial without being bulky, and it really rewards long-term wear. Aero nailed the pattern on this one.
