Super nicer Type III - a good fit on you. I obtained one of these in 2021. The horsehide is top notch and the fit on me is good although the sleeves & body are rather long. I paid $1300.00 back then - they are going for $1680.00 now - YIKES! The horsehide breaks in quickly and will only get better the more it's worn. Thanks for posting.

I’ve developed /perfected a line that allows me to wear a leather jacket in heat and not coming across as an idiot: I got sunburned badly before and doctor ordered full coverage /complete block of sun light - that’s why I cover myself with a leather jacket!

Seriously - I actually feel a cotton lined leather jacket is quite a good insulator against UV - the leather gets heated on the outside but inside is still cooler and regulates body temp well.

I agree. I lived in SE Asia and would get comments when I wore leather jackets on the motorcycle. But to me it was more comfortable to have leather blocking the sun and hot wind than a mesh jacket absorbing heat and blasting me with hot air.

Walter Dyer new old stock Vest arrived, beautiful naked cowhide. Also, put on the WD chaps which are a substantial beast of leather. The vest I bought from one of the Dyer’s selling on Fleabay from their stock.
