Haha! Great story.
Will be rocking the Eastman D-1 for the duration once I sort out a sick kid. Contemplated MOPP-2...
Little early to think of jackets
Not at all, some of us are living where it's cold right now. I'm wearing a 3/4 length 1950's safari style leather jacket made for me some years back by local maker Mars who are owned by new people and, sadly after a great history, are now producing rubbish.
Come on then Seb, post the pictures!!!
I'm glad that there is so much activity & do accept that I may have launched this idea a couple of months early for our Northern cousins, but I can't believe that we are now on page 5 & hardly any pictures have been uploaded!
The idea was to simply post pic's of great jackets in the wild.
For you Dan. Had it made in 2005. Black Argentine steer, removable belt, cotton drill lining, zip sleeves, zip slant pockets, 31 inch back.

Why does the fn picture go sideways?
Ha, lucky you.... Been too hot for leather down here in London for a couple of months now, even if it has been (blessed relief!) a much cooler Summer than what we suffered through last year. I think I last wore leather on a rare cool day in June. I've tried to go out the door a couple of times in my "Summer leather", a goat Wested Raiders, but even that's too much at the minute (mostly down to the satin-lining in the sleeves. Cotton I could maybe just bear, but the satin makes me sweat profusely and then sticks to me. Certainly wouldn't go for that again if I had the option....). Jacket-wise, I'bve mostly been wearing either a linen blazer or a sky-blue Harrington type. Hopefully next week I'll be able to wear my SJC hunting vest if I am - as yesterday - forced to go out without a jacket again. Hate this weather with a passion.
ELC A-2 in goat. Old picture
You are among of few which are not sweating even in t-shirt
That is one sweet-looking bomber! +1
Levi's type 2 skate jacket today
Vanson T-3 yesterday
I really like the look of that goat with those knits. Awesome! And so much character to the goat!
On the hand, nice Photoshop job on blotting out your ID in the pics. Unfortunately, that pesky avatar of yours may have given you away....
I don't mind posting my face here. I've just recently started blocking out my face on another forum that I post and don't want to keep 2 sets of photos.
Ahhh. Fair enough.
That's a stunningly well broken in Teamster. With all the Aero jackets around here, you rarely see that. Nice! Great fit, too!
Cool as ever, Dav.
what an ideal drizzle!!!
Dav looks well broken in as well.
