Count me in on this blackened brown Vic Ridley. I'm now a permanent fan of this pattern and leather. I think it's some of Aero's best. Also shout out to @Carrie @ Thurston Bros. For sending me a couple replacement eyelets so I could fix the underarm vent. TB really specs these jackets out nice with the leather/lining/hardware combos and even though I wasn't original owner, they helped me out.

On my way to High School Homecoming football game. I graduated in 1970, earned a letter in track 1968. I believe the jacket was $40 and the leather sleeves were extra! I chose the leather in an indication of where I was going in life. When I was in school you only wore you letter on the front of the jacket. When my children had it restored the other letters were added to the back.

Sliver Streak names comes from the Train of the same name. It is a railroad town.

Probably a size 40. It is a warm night here, so don't really need a jacket.

Looks great on you.
Sorry about the missing eyelets. I didn't even think to check or I would've mentioned it in the ad...

no worries. I didn't even notice myself for a couple days. I'm not sure it was ever there LOL. I think it must have missed qc because i don't know how it could fall out. In any case. Was super easy fix. Little slit in the lining, popped it in and bent the ring back, and it's all good.

Amazing jacket in any case.

That's awesome. One of the best things I've ever seen on here.

It makes me sad when I see stuff like this being sold. I know sometimes money is tight but gosh, I can't imagine selling something so personal. I remember on Pawn Stars, this guy sold his father in laws WW2 flight jacket for like a $1000. It belonged to some special bombing unit. Was in mint condition. Something that personal with literal history, I don't get it. I think I'd go donate blood for year before letting that leave my family. But I guess different strokes for different folks.

October 2nd surely means jacket weather. Unless you live in the Midwest. Tried to sport the Vanson on my morning Target run. Way to warm. This jacket is useless above 35 degrees. The quilt in this thing is just fire. It’s a winter jacket. Wears like one of those fuzzy B-whatever’s.

So I went out the door with it and through it in the backseat upon arrival at my second home. Felt refreshing to be in a crosszip though. Nice change up from the HB’s.

I had this one on my shortlist for a custom order when I visited Thedi Leathers last weekend. Lucky for me Theodoros had one laying around that was used for the pics on their website, it happened to be a perfect fit for me.

Came in Today and it Fits! Nice heavy wool on this one. Love these Conmar Bell zippers from the 40s. I can't believe I got this and it fits! I would have kept it in the closet if it didn't fit.

No label. A well made garment.

Came in today and it Fits! Nice heavy wool. Love the Bell Shaped 40s Conmar Zipper pulls. These are so difficult to find and I don't know why. This style was all over the Catalogs. This one is in excellent condition.

Very cool, I love everything about this one! If it would've been a 44 I would be the one posting these fit pics:cool:
