Really loving the double jacket layering lately. Both jackets the leather is soft so it makes it possible.

1973 M-65. Not particularly all that vintage or unique, but found it in my dad's USMC duffle bag and have been enjoying wearing it and remembering him.

Your post brought me smiles and many memories as today i too am wearing your father’s brother M-65 issued to me in 1973 boot camp. I have two from those times that have been out of the sea bag and are worn often, still going strong these 50 years later.
I’m glad you wear it proudly as he did.

Leather jackets are a high risk, high reward badassary you can wear. It’s not easy to pull off but once we do, it’s worth it. Screw the mentality of fitting in, be unique and be thyself.

I ordered a replacement snap-on mouton collar from CockpitUSA for my Bill’s Khakis/CockpitUSA G-1 jacket and it arrived just in time for the wicked Nor’easter that clobbered us here in the NYC area. The collar is super plush and warm and perfect to keep out the late winter chill.
Extra special thanks to Jacky Clyman (CockpitUSA co-owner) for personally handling my order. Great customer service!
