This really looks great. The leather on the sleeves looks substantial. Quilted patches add character. Fit is dead on.
I have waited to see the quality of these again since my last trip to their shop in the 70s/80s, where through lack of funds I bought my first riding leather...a Kett (a good jacket but not a LL).

I am not sure of the model on this one (a Viscount maybe?), it has a three piece back a little like a Vanson B with the shoulder pads making a good yoke (any suggestions anyone?)

It is very well made and a thick but soft hide (again not sure what (sheep?)), a huge RiRi set of zips and (thank you @Will Zach ) for riding would fit me pretty perfectly.

However my riding days are sadly over (a higher power (no not the Courts but certainly the Law)) is promised so I will likely move it on.

I've been wearing this repro field jacket everyday, I hope to get back to leather and denim way again someday, but this light cotton coat with 4 cargo pockets in what currently summer climate feels really ideal, and I have a goal to fade it or something before rainy season kicks in.

That's a good jacket you got, Randy. I'd keep this one and not look back.
Thanks Monitor! I am reminded of your request a while back for a jacket with lots of unique features and a little "crazy." Well this one does not feel crazy at all to me and I do have an order in for one too, so I may just have it "padded" as well. It's just a really nice feature.

I have a Vanson Maverick and would kill for a zip on it. I thought about putting one in, but the snaps are in the way.

I added a Streamliner to mine this summer for colder wear when needed.

Picked it up for £50, no killing involved - Maverick with Zip!

(I might add the studs to the Ike)
