What Jacket Are You Wearing Today?

I finally received this amazing jacket today! It’s an Aero Chips jacket made with Black CXL FQHH, olive stitching, and navy moleskin. I absolutely love the symmetric zipper, belt loop, and side laces. The chest feels a bit too roomy, and the leather is still stiff, so it feels slightly awkward now, but I’m confident it will break in beautifully over time and fit perfectly.

By the way, DHL Express is incredibly fast. It took less than 60 hours to get from Germany to Korea! On the downside, the shipping cost was 15% of the jacket’s price, but still…

Big congrats! A difficult pattern to get exactly right, but you got 10/10.

Good choice in the leather too. Really the only one that fits this very "butch" jacket, IMO.

If you ever get shot whilst wearing that jacket, you will certainly win your case for negligence against the shooter. He can't say you were camouflaged.:)
Hahaha - so true! Nah but seriously > one of my dogs very much looks like a small deer or even like a fox over a distance. As a result I always make sure to be seen when having hunters around.

Oh I really really like that! not one you see every day :) also love that sweater, I'm a sucker for cableknits :D

Cheers!
Danke! :) Yes it is definitely one of the rarer ones. The same design but in beige/brown or brown/beige can be found from time to time but the blue version is rather rare nowadays.
And there is no winter without cableknit! :) It’s a real Irish John Molloy but I usually buy the version for women as it is equally wide but far shorter and somehow looks nicer on me.…:D

I don’t know much about zipper sizes, but it says this on the back of the main zipper.

Yeah, as it says, thats a Universal-branded YKK zipper in size 5. That´s the largest (in fact only...) size Aero will do. I have found the Universal to be the only zipper in Aero´s offering that works reliable with the heavy hides. You did well...

I've done the same "trick" a bunch of times, buying the women version instead of the men.
Like you say they often fits a lot better in the length(why are all new sweaters for men SO LONG? been for a while and I don't get it lol) while still fitting great in the chest/shoulder/stomach area.
:)

I can only second that! Those straight and long sweaters these days…. I definitely prefer rather short and V-shaped sweaters and pullovers. Just long enough to cover the belt or to be stuck inside the pants without stuffing in too much:)
