I hope it fits well cause it truly is beautiful. To the point I would be afraid to wear it. I wouldn’t want to take away from those tones and contrasts.
I tried it on fits perfect well in my opinion being that it’s made to order with my measurements Jl has just about nailed it every time i just throw these things on cause they deserve to be worn I’m sure it will look super cool after a few wears

Oh I agree. I’ve gotten to the point I’ve traded away or sold almost my entire collection because I just didn’t wear them enough. The few I have left I even put some badges and pins on. It’s my jacket. I don’t plan on leaving it to anyone. And if I do, it’s because it’s survived that long and it brings them comfort. Doesn’t need to be pretty. That’s just super nice. JL nailed it.

Just landed in Tokyo. I am at a hotel right beside Narita for the night, and tomorrow will transfer to Ueno.

I arrived from Malaysia with a number of jackets already and will spend the next four days educating myself on high end leather jackets (and some denim as well). I have a small budget for the right purchase but if I don't get anything at all, I won't be disappointed. This trip is more about learning.

Finally after six months in SE Asia, I am back in jacket weather. Yes!!

Here is a shot of my Vietnam-era G-1 alongside a Polo corderoi jacket and a Schott AT101. I acquired all of these in SE Asia.

But the one I love the most is this old Yamaha biker jacket. This thing is really freaking cool - purchased in Malaysia. I'll be wearing various combos of these jackets on my Tokyo adventure.

I was told that the town by Narita is really lovely, nice restaurants, etc. Enjoy, I am envious as hell.

I had a very brief overnight at this same hotel back in July 2024 when I flew to SE Asia. So this is my second time and I really enjoy the drive here from the airport. The countryside is charming, but not having seen anything else of Japan yet, I can't say if what I'm seeing is typical or if it is something worth coming to experience.

The roads are tiny though and it would not be easy to walk around the area (I generally don't enjoy an area where I can't easily walk. That goes for the US as well). The hotel is not in the town, so maybe the town is easier for that?

Yeah, maybe someone who told me about it meant the town center. These are usually very walkable in Japan.

I thought I recognized these! I have the same ones...excellent audio quality from a compact package.

...Now back to jackets...

A "collection" photo from the past - July 2017 in fact. Actually not a single one of these jackets is in my possession anymore. TFL effect is real!

Periodically I decide to perform an inventory reduction, sold 3 jackets and a vest in the last month. Nice stack of leather you had there.
