Just finished this sewing project to alter a 1950s vintage Swedish goatskin jacket gifted from @Herrvallmo (I hope you don't mind man :D )

It fit decently but now that I had a better understanding of my measurements, I decided to take the plunge and have my first experience sewing leather. This was a thin hide so I got the job done with my walking foot, leather needle, and my little sewing machine that could.

Used the excess parts to cut a leather tab and also panels to cover the former pockets when I shortened the length a bit. Also put a dark brown cotton lining since this was initially unlined. Happy with the results :)

Very well done! I feel like 90% of what I enjoy about this hobby is altering something to my specific taste. This looks superb! Excellent!

Thanks brother I’ve been beating up these brave stars at work then tub wash them raw denim is an other hobby I have along with jackets and boots

Awesome mate :D
I'm doing a single pair of denims right now(Japan Blue J401) and hopefully they'll have that a nice fade in some time :D

Yeah they have no choice brother just live life in them and when your ready tub wash them I’m luck my in a sense I’m in the construction field so I go to town in them
