got the Bill Kelso RW 27752 out on this overcast day today.

anyone know of a thread on here for a-2 time period clothing? Cheers.

No official A-2 thread, there have been A-2 threads here and there on various A2-related questions, but none took off. You can always start one. Free internet, free TFL.

There aren’t enough people here interested in military leather jackets though, that’s the VLJ crowd, if you’re not on there already.

This appears to be what Schott based their new jaxcket from the spingsteen collection on.

I misunderstood your question. There are threads on 30s-40s clothing (suits, pants/jeans), but the most comprehensive one I found was generally on the Esquire Illustrations of the 1933-1948 styles. Very little of such styles have to do with leather jackets or suede jackets though, they were more about civilian outfits (suits, coats, fedoras, summer shirts and shorts)

Not quite cold enough for this jacket, but it soon will be. Buzz Rickson William Gibson edition N-1 in goat paired with Wesco Jobmaster boots in black Horween horsehide. Not the greatest or most interesting picture as I’m a bit off-kilter today both photographically and mentally. But it’s definitely a neat jacket.

Cherubim “Ton Up” A La Dominator V2.0…. I felt like the one I made a week and a half ago was a little short in the body. OCD caused me to make a couple small tweaks, add an inch to the body, and a touch longer sleeves. Forgive the still very stiff 4oz panels, she was born last night!

What jacket I will never be wearing at all: RMC has just released an indigo-dyed A-2 for a more than reasonable EUR 6.250. And even VAT/customs are already included.

My tailor has an indigo house tweed cloth custom woven at Lovat; I'd recommend those eager for a fancy indigo jacket go get a bespoke jacket from him instead!
