Smell is unreal! It weirdly reminds of this luxury resort I stayed at in Mexico. No idea how they do it.Ohhh man I have a thing with RC … ohh talk to me about the smell lol by the way how much was it if you don’t mind me asking?
Aren't you a retailer now?Brief price side panel-
My prices for 2025 production were $1750/1815 depending on size, though all the Hercs sold out. RC upped their prices about $150 so 2026 production had to go up accordingly. The difference for my price vs buying in Japan can almost entirely be accounted for by import duties.
Nice jackets and good fit. For future, I’m in the US and bought some Aero hangers from Thurston Bros and they were about $20 each and no need for international shipping.Simple, sophisticated, perfect: my two new Schotts...OTR but fit like they were made for me. And after 20 years of FQHH, I feel like Atlas the day after the weight of the world was lifted off his shoulders.
The black is #246 lamb/sheep, the brown is #546 in cow; both are delicious, smooth as butter, and superbly crafted. Linings are cotton and magnificent, sleeves are satin/polyester/smooth. Schott is known for its moto/Perfectos, but I think their "civilians" are even better.
Wish I had discovered them decades ago, would have saved me a lot of aggravation, time and expense. Yes FQHH is an ideal material for riding, giving lots of protection and the weight is less of a factor since you are sitting on a bike, but wearing an 8.5lb FQHH coat while walking around for 6-8 hours is brutal - and that is after you've spent YEARS breaking the jacket in so you can actually move your arms.
New leather jacket buyers should be properly educated on FQHH and what it requires of the buyer/wearer, and I think the jacket makers should urge buyers to look at lighter/mid-weight horse hides (Pinnacle??) if they have never had a FQHH jacket before.
PS I received my Aero hangers which after customs/duties cost nearly $30 per...don't get me started, but this was not Aero's fault. UPS is truly a dreadful company.
