A documentary called The Tsunami and the Cherry Blossom. An engaging film about the Japanese tsunami of 2011 and cultural association with the cherry blossom. The interviews and attitudes of the survivors is inspiring.
I cannot forget the 1,000 year old cherry blossom tree that bloomed not long after the Fukushima disaster. I had never heard of this national treasure but looking at this ancient tree and the way people spoke about it was truly sublime.

It's currently running on HBO On Demand if anyone has access and is interested in seeing it. I recommend it.
