My laptop.

A copy of 100 Years of Solitude and Star Wars: Legacy of the Force: Inferno.

A glass of sweet tea.

A cat, trying to knock over the glass of sweet tea.

A spray bottle I will be using in 3 seconds on the cat.

Ooh, where'd you get that? A story there?

I don't have a coffee table per se, but a large, round red leather ottoman used as a coffee table. Right now it is barely visible under vintage sewing patterns, 2 tissue boxes, a cup of tea and a coaster, the documents I saved (but did not organize) for my taxes for this year and several magazines.

Weird thread. [huh]

Me too. I have a spool of funny thread on my coffee table now as well. Plus a thimble and a needle.

But seriously, I think Richard Locktown is COLLECTING INFO on us for the CIA

Coffee table book on Craftsman-style homes
Coffee table book on Stickley furniture
A mini-book on wine
A book on history of music in Washington state
Binder with printout from my DVD cataloging program of what we have
Ring of candles
Classic Style and American Bungalow magazine casually tossed

And now I, too, am wondering if the Culinary Institute is using this data for some nefarious purpose...if I turn on the Food Network or flip through Bon Appetite sometime in the future and see some sort of cake or hors d'oeuvre arrangement that looks like a table with a Stickley book recreates with frosting or humus & smoked salmon dip, I guess we'll know...

Yep. We're compiling a list of coffee table terrorists. Anyone with more than 3 ounces of liquid on said tables is in serious trouble. :D And shoes ... don't forget to take off your shoes.

Broken piece of coffee table, trying to figure out how to fix it
Box of crap from my Room of Shame, which said contents of are all over the house (I should be cleaning, but here I am in the Lounge). But there is some cool stuff in it, notably an occupied Japan statuette of a geisha getting a tattoo on her back from what looks like a sadistic guy...
Cracker crumbs, glass rings, etc (I really should be cleaning...)
