Just the opposite here - I have never seen more than 10 minutes of any episode of Buffy or Angel, but I was hooked on Firefly instantly during its run on the Sci-Fi Channel leading up to the release of Serenity a couple of years back (like nearly everybody else, I had missed its original truncated run on Fox).

So, I'm not one of those dedicated Whedon fanatics - but I was really impressed with Firefly/Serenity, and I still hope that we somehow manage to get more stories from that 'Verse... someday!
