I just sent in a deposit and need to decide what to get. I think something with a hint of western, lower crown, minimal vertical tapering. Maybe it would be easier to reshape my head.

I think he calls it dress weight but it is really light! I may have to get one of those Artlites next since it's hard to imagine something lighter.

Have a look at the LaSalle on Art's site. It is hard to get the real feel for the hat from that picture but the hat has a diamond bash with a somewhat of a straight brim. I posted pics of it in a couple of threads, one was the "post your new hats here" thread. It is my goto hat.

Bud it definitely fits like I was born wearing it! I think Art's hats are something that you should count customer experience and Art's reputation cos at least for me I know they look good in pictures but no picture I have been able to take shows even half of how good they really look or fit!
