Has anyone seen this movie. I believe it to be from 1942. Anyways, I was watching this movie on TCM just a little while ago and saw this man take off the hat he was wearing and put a new hat on. Then, he crumpled up the hat he had taken off and put it in the garbage. Now this might be a stupid question, but why do that? I understand that hats were more abundant in those days but still.
