I'm in the market for a wool-free or synthetic wool newsboy cap. Looking for one similar in cut to the one pictured below...

Thanks in advance for any help.

Mine is so old the lining has come out... But have you considered suede? Mine is made of fine, smooth suede as opposed to rough thick stuff. It's a hand-me-down from my Dad, and could be a Dorfman Pacific. Not the least bit itchy but still an animal product.

I've had two fleece "driving caps" or "flat caps" with built in, fold up, ear flaps and while they are not the warmest caps, they were very comfortable.
Do an Internet search for fleece products and you may find that someone is still making them.
