Chequebook at the ready! Funny how the article says it only has 86 miles on it, but the dials and steering wheel are pockmarked as if it'd been driven around the world!

If this car had a conventional steel body it'd be worth $15k tops, but it is such a neat artifact of the era that I think it'll pull in some serious money.

Wow. I can't imagine a car costing $25,000 in 1939. That was a gigantic amount of money. Based on GDP comparisons, it is over $1.68 million today.
