Wrinkled Ribbon

Just got in a hat I bought off Ebay, and the ribbon is wrinkled -- rolled down around part of the top and a couple of creases. I need suggestions on how to fix this.

I had the same thing happen just today - I wet the ribbon with water on my finger, smoothed out the ribbon and then used a blow dryer. I don't know if that's kosher, but it worked very well.

Here's what I do...

I hit the ribbon with a little steam from a tea kettle,
while holding the ribbon in place with a brand new paint brush.
It usually pops right back into place.

I just wet the ribbon and push it back like it goes letting it dry on it's own.

Thanks for the tips. I also taped it down with some Scotch tape. Next morning, it was good as new.

I am a little late on this... but I do the same as IC. It has always worked well for me.
