Or something less associated with clothes (I am interested in some other things, too ;) ) - a verse by Ogden Nash about a part of Camille Saint-Saëns's "The Carnival of the animals" - Fossils (I am a kind of fossil of modern times, after all :) ):

At midnight in the museum hall
The fossils gathered for a ball
There were no drums or saxophones,
But just the clatter of their bones,
A rolling, rattling, carefree circus
Of mammoth polkas and mazurkas.
Pterodactyls and brontosauruses
Sang ghostly prehistoric choruses.
Amid the mastodontic wassail
I caught the eye of one small fossil.
"Cheer up, sad world," he said, and winked—
"It's kind of fun to be extinct."

Best regards, Dr

I like that one.. :)
Thanks Stray Cat.

Ironically on Jan 5th I had a close one at work and it got me to thinking. Also on Memorial Day I helped put flags on the vets tombstones. I noticed a lot of stones dating back to the Civil War. Some you could barely read and others were only identified as a vet by the shield still barely noticeable on the tombstone.

thanks again

Here lies Dubya
Who spent almost all his money on beer, women, cigarettes and gambling.
The rest he just squandered

There once was a man from Zamorra,
Whose stories could surely bore ya.
Three plots he bought
For many hats to rot.
Here lies that horder of felt
Robbed of his last fedora.
