If you find the right vest, I hope you post your recreation! I've been trying to get a cardigan and loop collar shirt similar to what my father wore in the 50's. Our old men really knew how to dress, I guess.

I have an extremely similar vest from a place called Lamellias or something like that. It's a chain and sells western wear. It cost me about 100CDN (it was on sale) and was available in certain sizes all the way up to an XXL.

Mondo, I believe I bought what you're describing is widely available in some of the trendier mall shops. Places like Le Chateau especially.
