BumpI’m looking for a Tellason Coverall Jacket in White Oak Cone Mills denim. Size medium or large depending on measurements.
Thanks!!
You know, it’s funny you should suggest this…because the deeper I’ve gone down this rabbit hole, the more I’ve been thinking about going the Stock Coverall option. I’ve been wanting a White Oak version just for the historical aspect. I think it’s a rad piece of denim history. But the stock one seems to been made of a rather cool denim itself. I think the current cone mills factory is in both Mexico and China. I’m guessing tellason is using the Mexico mill since it’s closer. That’s probably the only thing holding me back from the stock version.I can tell you without a shadow of a doubt the $179 you'll pay for the Tellason Stock Coverall Jacket is seriously worth every penny, and they're constructed with Cone Mills denim.
I own one in olive green and one in black selvedge and love 'em both. Also, if you wait, they have 20% sales a few times a year, and things pop up on Item of the Week.
Honestly, it's worth emailing or calling the guys at Tellason and getting the history. I have contacted them about everything from sizing to stocking (and even when their next sale is) and they've been completely transparent. Even though their stuff is a bit pricey, I never have any trouble supporting them because they're so unbelievably responsive and transparent.I think the current cone mills factory is in both Mexico and China. John Lofgren Monkey Boots Shinki Horsebuttt - $1,136 The classic monkey boot silhouette in an incredibly rich Shinki russet horse leather.
Grant Stone Diesel Boot Dark Olive Chromexcel - $395 Goodyear welted, Horween Chromexcel, classic good looks.
Schott 568 Vandals Jacket - $1,250 The classic Perfecto motorcycle jacket, in a very special limited-edition Schott double rider style. That’s a good idea. I’m just going off the fact that the old cone mills factory is closed in North Carolina. They may have an insane amount of dead stock non selvedge denim form the old mill. But the new mills have been moved to China and Mexico, so it’s more than likely where their Cone Mills denim is coming from now. I do think I’ll ask though. If it did happen to be dead stock that would be rad!Honestly, it's worth emailing or calling the guys at Tellason and getting the history.
