I have a smashing Deacon Flight suit I bought ages ago from a chap who rode his motorcycle with it for a time, its hanging up on my door, and It was made in Belleville Which happens to be about half an hour from where I live currently. I will be sure to post it here and talk about the Cleaning I had to do..its missing the collar, of course the original owner said he had it around somewhere, but I never met him and Its a lost cause to get it now, Im sure the owner may no longer be with us sadly.

But these are rather rare I would imagine.

I have the same Jacket,it belonged to my late Father,it was issued to him when he did his British National Service with the RAF in Canada as a Pilot in 1949-1951,he flew the Spitfire Trainer aircraft Tiger Moths and T6 Harvards. Photos enclosed.......Dinerman,can I see how the Shoulder Epaulets on yours are connected please?

Yes, D-man has moved on to other things. After an absence of six years, I doubt we will be seeing him around here again. A shame as he was a real contributor.
