Thanks Alan. I fixed the reference link(one too many https). Mallory used puggarees on some of their felt hats, as evidenced by these period ads(referenced from Ebay):

Ask and ye shall receive... I love that about the Fedora Lounge. The two colors in the hat are growing on me... together they have the look of an old burnished penny. Looks great on you with that jaunty angle.

Tragically, some time ago, the Vicorona and I parted company, and it headed on to greener, fuzzier, pastures...

....but it's still here on the Lounge.....

I know I don't necessarily exude the look of a vintage gent with my choice of bodily adornment, but its so easily hidden when I need to. I could never just stick to one consistent look anyway.

There's no one ideal look or one ideal hat... good to see your post. My younger daughter would kill for a nose ring like that.

My ebay Playboy arrived today. 2 1/4" brim, which is the narrowest I do. The hat is dang near mint, the felt and sweatband are perfect and it looks to be in unworn condition.
