Gerry Anderson's Stingray.
I finally bought it on DVD, much better this way because the colors come out brighter, and you can see all the effects Anderson's crew designed for the show.

Well gee, go figure. She got back with her child molester boyfriend who molested a member of her own family....
Whaddaya' expect from a guy named Pumpkin?

A year or two ago I tried to watch an episode just to see what the show was about. The family done loaded up a truck and gone to one o' them thar cornfield mazes, and either Mommy Dearest or one of the older sisters kept whining about needing to find a rest room or she was "gonna' hafta' do my bizness right here." I don't think more than a minute had passed before I decided I'd rather have a leg amputated without the benefit of anesthesia than watch another second.

Constantine. I was pleasantly surprised. They got a lot more right than the movie.

Good to hear!

A couple of years back I also tried to watch an episode and had the same reaction.

True. But, if that character's only there to try to get rid of Gordon, I don't see the point. He's only going up in his career. Eventually, anyways. [huh]

I agree; I was just trying to be facetious. What I was trying to get at is I find it bothersome when a character that the public has grown to know suddenly has some new "history" created to bring some tension or drama into a storyline. I know that they are fictional characters, but I know them through the consistency of character that the writers/artists have instilled in them over the years. Changing that tends to cheapen the work that has gone before. Why should we invest our interest in characters that can have their entire "past" nullified?

I would like to add that I'm speaking about iconic characters; like Batman, Superman, James Bond, etc.
