I'm catching up after a few days off, so a bit late. But that is a fantastic looking hat, Christophe.

This hat is in the second exchange with Stefan (Steur) in Holland. Thanks again to the Flemmish kindness

Even in Verona is definitely the open season of felt

The rains came with good intensity and the first fall was begun.
The first hat of the Merano field is inaugurated, and it has not passed since the official presentation. It will do so soon

One Too Many
Stay away from Howth when wearing this one then, Karl.
Nearly brought Mrs Karl to Howth today for brunch except the carpenter we'd hired to do some cabinets was fashionably late. Ended up in Clontarf instead, holding on to my Barbisio as we walked the bay wall path afterwards. I'm not from around here so there's always something new to see.

Mrs. Red and I are heading to the Oregon coast again, this time for a weekend with the in-laws at a resort. My choice to handle the wind will be my stingy Cavanagh Thirty. Not much brim to catch a gust an go flying. For today, on campus, the modern Sage Stratoliner. Love this hat from Moon. No time for current images, these are from the archives.

Have a great trip to the coast, Red! I imagine it's a little cool and windy there now. We went to Pacific City a few weeks ago and it was downright blustery!

Another hot day. Hats Guatemaya palm straw got the call

Since it's supposed to heat up much earlier this morning I wasn't even going to bother with felt. But then the allure of the new OR proved too strong, so I'm sitting here in that for now.

Have a fine Friday,

Classic deuce, Michael! I'd be tempted with that OR, too! I thought of you today when I found a new antique shop in town... with 2 stories of cool stuff. The only hat I would have been tempted to buy, had it been in my size, was a moth-bitten 50's OR clone in size 7. Nice felt, no liner and no indication it ever had a liner. Cool hat. It would make a great beater. They didn't have a price on it... There was a western straw that was size 7-1/2. At first I thought... is that parabuntal? No, just a no-name toasted shantung paper straw. I might have even bought that but the front brim was not to my liking and the paper straw looked to fragile to change it up.

Last night, took the pup to the old ball orchard for Bark in the Park, where they had three sections dedicated for dogs and their owners. Warm night under the PB Milan.

Wow, great scenery and a cool hat mi hermano. The first couple pics come across as charcoal colored felt but the last one comes in strong as navy. You come up with the most fabulous color combinations. Another fantastic Gannon!
